The public sector is increasingly investing in Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) projects and renewable energy initiatives to achieve their air quality, economic, and energy goals. In 2011, the majority of Energy Service Companies’ work was conducted for public entities at the state or local level and accounted for $3,805 billion in ESCO revenues in Municipalities, Universities, Schools and Hospitals (Pike Research).

Since 2000, Grant Capital has funded over $4 billion in equipment lease-purchases and energy performance contract projects.

We have dedicated a team to financing energy savings performance contract (ESPC) projects and for over 10 years, we have provided energy performance contract financing for: state and local governments, school districts, hospitals, colleges and universities and U.S. Public Housing Authorities.

Grant Capital has financed over $800 million in energy efficiency projects, which includes over $178 million in energy performance contract financings for public housing authorities.
