Ebensburg Center/Commonwealth of Pennsylvania - Energy Performance Contract

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acting through its Department of Public Welfare entered into a $15,580,000/ 16-year Energy Performance Contract lease agreement for the Ebensburg Center, one of the Pennsylvania Department of Public Works - Office of Developmental Programs agencies. The lease agreement will finance the purchase and installation of energy conservation measures to improve the efficiency and reliability of the Center's energy infrastructure.

This energy efficiency project was facilitated through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Guaranteed Energy Savings Act (GESA). The Ebensburg Center is the third energy efficiency project Grant Capital Management has funded under the GESA Program. The utility savings are projected to be in excess of $22.8M over the term of the contract. And, the annual utility savings are projected to cover the debt service throughout the period.
